SPECIAL EXHIBITION TO MARK  ORSON WELLES’ 100th BIRTHDAY - prolonged until end of 2017 Orson Welles (1915-1985) was an  American actor, director, writer,  producer and magician, who  worked in theater, radio and film. All three media were strongly  influenced by his innovative work. His  radio broadcast "The War of the  Worlds" (1938) caused mass panic, his film 'Citizen Kane' (1941) consistently  ranks as one of the all-time greatest  films. His appearance as "Harry Lime"  in the classic film "The Third Man" shot  in Vienna in 1948, achieved iconic  status. The Third Man Museum in Vienna  celebrates Orson Welles' centenary  with a special exhibiton showing 250  photos, 40 posters, interviews with Oja  Kodar and Christian McKay, some nice  memorabilia, and as always: Originals  only! The show runs until end of 2017.
