ORSON WELLES: TRIBUTE AND EXHIBITION “The Third Man” shot in Vienna in 1948 is not an Orson Welles film - he was neither director nor producer of this film - but his appearance as Harry Lime went down in film history. This exhibition was originally made to celebrate his centenary in 2015, but we like it so much so we decided to show it permanently! :)All three media theatre, radio and film were strongly influenced by Orson Welles’ innovative work. His radio broadcast "The War of the Worlds" (1938) caused mass panic, his film 'Citizen Kane' (1941) consistently ranks as one of the all-time greatest films. His interpretation of Harry Lime in "The Third Man" achieved iconic status. On display: 250 photos, 40 posters, interviews with Oja Kodar and Christian McKay, some nice memorabilia, and as always: Originals only! The show runs until end of 2018.
